About this event
A three-day festival celebrating the mythical ushioni (bull demon) with massive 5-6 meter bamboo-framed floats paraded through the streets and eventually driven into the sea. Culminates in the dramatic Hashiri-komi run at Warei Shrine on the final day, with fireworks over Uwajima Bay.
