About this event
A vibrant neighborhood festival at Torigoe Shrine in Taito ward, famous for Tokyo's heaviest mikoshi weighing 4 tons. The highlight is the Sunday Night Parade when the lantern-lit mikoshi returns to the shrine through narrow streets, creating an electrifying atmosphere. Around 250 food and game stalls line the streets. Local neighborhoods parade their own smaller mikoshi on Saturday.
