Sakura Autumn Festival

About this event

A three-day festival that has announced the arrival of autumn in the old castle town of Sakura for more than three centuries. Floats, omikishi carts and mikoshi wind through the angled streets of the former castle town, led by the huge portable shrine of Makata Shrine, one of the largest in Chiba Prefecture.
