About this event
A dynamic summer festival in Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture, featuring enormous illuminated andon lantern floats up to 7 meters tall and 12 meters long. The highlight is the spectacular kenka (fighting) parade where rival floats crash into each other. One of the most thrilling festivals in the Hokuriku region.
