24th Kagoshima Kinko Bay Summer Night Grand Fireworks 2026

About this event

One of Kyushu's largest fireworks festivals, launching approximately 15,000 fireworks over Kinko Bay with the dramatic backdrop of active volcano Sakurajima. Highlights include 24 consecutive large fireworks (shaku-dama) and the simultaneous launch of two extra-large 2-shaku shells. The 2026 edition features special countdown celebrations for the 200th anniversary of Saigo Takamori's birth.
