About this event
One of Kurashiki city's biggest summer events, the Tenryo Summer Festival transforms Kurashiki Chuo-dori into a pedestrian paradise from 4:30pm. Highlights include the traditional Daikan-bayashi Odori bon dance, taiko drumming, the Sensakiraku portable shrine, and the lively rock-style OH! Daikan-bayashi dance. The festival celebrates Kurashiki's heritage as a former shogunate territory.
