A traditional Obon fire ceremony where a giant character 'dai' is set ablaze on Mt. Myojo (924m) in Hakone. The burning character, visible across the Gora valley, is accompanied by a fireworks display. This over-century-old tradition honors ancestral spirits during the Obon season.
