About this event
A vibrant Tanabata (Star Festival) celebration along the 1.2km Kappabashi Hontoori street between Ueno and Asakusa. The shopping street is decorated with colorful tanabata streamers and bamboo decorations. Visitors can enjoy food stalls, live performances, and traditional games while writing wishes on tanzaku paper strips.
