About this event
A UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage festival in Fukuoka spanning two weeks. The climax is the Oiyamakasa on July 15 at 4:59 AM, when seven massive floats race through the streets of Hakata over a 5km course. Decorated display floats are exhibited throughout the city during the festival.
