About this event
One of Kagoshima's three great traditional events. Commemorating Shimazu Yoshihiro's breakthrough retreat at the Battle of Sekigahara, participants walk some 20 km from Kagoshima City to Tokushige Shrine in Ijuin, Hioki. Held on the fourth Sunday of October and the day before.
