About this event
The Kannon Segaki Ceremony at Hase-dera is a Buddhist memorial rite offering prayers and food to wandering spirits who have no one to pray for them. Rooted in the compassionate teachings of Kannon Bodhisattva, it is held to bring peace to the unsettled souls of the departed. A touching expression of Buddhist compassion that transcends the boundaries between the living and the dead.
