About this event
A UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage festival known as 'Japan's Noisiest Festival.' About 40 ornately decorated festival floats parade through the streets while participants strike bells and drums in unison. The festival climax begins at midnight on the first day with the 'tatakidashi' (drum beating start).
