About this event
Tokyo oldest and most famous fireworks festival, dating back to 1733. Around 20,000 fireworks are launched from two sites along the Sumida River near Asakusa, drawing nearly one million spectators. Features both competitive fireworks from top pyrotechnicians and large-scale artistic displays.
