Shirahigetawara Shrine Doburoku Festival

About this event

An autumn festival at Shirahigetawara Shrine in Kitsuki, held since ancient times. Unrefined doburoku sake, brewed on the shrine grounds under one of the few licences of its kind in Japan, is offered to the gods and then poured freely for visitors, alongside kagura dances and a procession.
