Shonan Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival

About this event

One of the largest Tanabata festivals in the Kanto region, attracting over 1.5 million visitors over three days. The streets around JR Hiratsuka Station are transformed with hundreds of enormous, eye-catching tanabata decorations up to 10 meters tall. Food vendors, parades, and live entertainment fill the festival grounds.
