About this event
The Seiryu-e (Blue Dragon Ceremony) at Kiyomizudera is a spectacular procession in early April where participants dressed as the guardian blue dragon spirit parade through the temple grounds and nearby streets. This dynamic and visually striking ceremony celebrates the protective deity believed to reside in the spring beneath the temple.
