About this event
A unique Tanabata festival held inside the cool Takamori Spring Water Tunnel in the Aso area of Kumamoto. The 550-meter former railway tunnel is decorated with colorful Tanabata ornaments and illuminations, creating a magical underground experience. The naturally cool air inside makes it a perfect escape from summer heat.
