About this event
A traditional Shinto summer purification ceremony at Sorasaya Inari Shrine in central Hiroshima, followed by a fireworks display at 8 PM. Visitors walk through a large chinowa reed ring to cleanse away the first half of the year's misfortunes and pray for good health.
