About this event
The Setsubun Tsuina-shiki ceremony at Zojoji Temple is an ancient ritual of demon-expelling performed to drive out misfortune and purify the temple grounds for the coming season. The dramatic ceremony, complete with costumed demon figures, is both solemn and deeply theatrical.
